West Yellowstone

The painted Buffalo

Hialee loved the balloon and throwing rocks with Grandpa Jack.

Hailee is full of kisses.....even for the bear.

She sang and played all the way home.

Horseshoe Lake

One day we went to Horseshoe Lake so Jack could fish. It was as beautiful as I remember it. The fishing wasn't too good because the lake was filled will girls in canoes from LDS girl's camp. One unexpected treat was a short ride in a canoe. The folks from the camp offered to let us take one out on the lake in between groups. While we were out on the lake the water water crystal clear. It was so clear that I could see the roots of the lilly pads go all of the way down to the lake floor. The lilly pads had yellow flowers on them. I wish I could have taken the camera out on the lake to take a picture of them up close.

A Crocheted Sweater and Hat for Cutie Patootie

I crocheted this sweater and hat on the way home from Napa. I adapted a patern that I downloaded from the internet. Once the sweater set was complete, the next thing was to find the perfect outfit to go with it. We found this one at Baby Gap.

The next trick was to get a picture of Hailee wearing the entire outfit. She is pretty quick and it took several tries to get the picture I wanted. I got a lot of pictures of her back.

Hailee got a mouthful of teeth all at once this summer. she was often seen with her tongue flipped over to the side of her mouth. She loves doing kicks and dancing complete with arabesques. A little dancer at heart.

One of her favorite things to do at the trailer is say "Hello" to the baby.

What a beautiful spirit!
