Thanksgiving 2009

We have many things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, but the greatest gift is the gift of family. We enjoyed spending time with our family this Thanksgiving.

We drove to Twin Falls to pick AJ up at Brandon & Krista's house on the Sat. before Thanksgiving. We vistied with Brandon & Krista and the boys. It was so nice to see them. We also visited with Gary and Dan at Costco (for about 2 hours). We got to see Britney, Curt, and Hailee because they were in Twin Falls celebrating their 5th anniversary and Curt's sister, Christine's baby, Trudy, was blessed. AJ came over for a few days. He came to my classroom and spent the day. I am so happy when we are together. It was so nice to have him at my house.

Sunday Tammy, Patrick, Taylor and Taylor's boyfirend joined us for some Google Earth-Tell. Google Earth- Tell is a game we made up where you hook the computer to the TV. The family sits around and each person picks a place to fly to and tell a story about. It's great to visually go to the place the story is about. We also went to the internet to You-tube viedeos that showed bike tricks that Taylor and her friend are learning to do.

Mom, AJ, Gary, Nancy, and Dan joined us on Wed. at our house in Meridian. We ate the tradional meal and then we also played Google Eart-Tell. Gary and Nancy took us to their new property in the red rock country of St George, Utah.

Thanksgiving day we traveled to Ashton stopping in Twin Falls to drop AJ off at Brandon & Krista's house. Jack and I enjoyed some of our leftovers for dinner when we arrived and Britney and Curt's house. They were having dinner with Curt's family ant his sister Cathy's house.

On Friday, Jack went hunting with John and I went to Black Friday shopping with Britney and Curt's sister, Cherri. We had a great time shopping. Later that day we had dinner with Christine and Scott, AJ, Hailee, Britney and Curt. Sat. Jack went hunting with John again, but had no luck. Jack really enjoyed hunting with John.

This Thanksgiving we spent lots of time with lots of family and have lots to be thankful for.
