There we were driving along a forest road in the old jeep when......................
This was one very hungry grizzly bear. We sat and watched him eat for about 10 minutes , then chased him into the woods and drove by. A short distance up the road a tree blocked the way, so we turned around to head back, and he was right back in the meadow eating again.I've got to admit, it was a bit spooky being in the open jeep, but fortunately he was more interested in eating whatever was in the meadow instead of us.
It was an amazing scene. Lori was more than just a little nervous, but she kept snapping pictures.
We're going back tomorrow to see if he's still there.
